FANCLUB - GENERAL INFORMATION
HISTORY
TNG Fanclub was founded in June 2002 in Amsterdam by four long time devoted Jackson fans: Lucinda, Sharmila, Trisha and Margo. The idea for the Fanclub was first and foremost to support 3T with their comeback and the other next generation Jacksons with their debut. The crew started off with a website and a forum, "3T Fantalk" (now known as "TNG Fantalk"), which developed itself into the biggest 3T forum on the internet. This success was also contributed by TJ and Taj Jackson who regularly visited the forum to chat with fans and to support our cause. In September 2003, the crew met 3T and got their full support. This drove the crew to take the Fanclub to the next level. TNG Fanclub started to accept memberships and released its own magazine, "NEXT Magazine". During the promotion of 3T’s third album, entitled "Identity", TNG Fanclub managed to arrange a few exclusive interviews for "NEXT Magazine" and some great opportunities for fans such as:
PRESENT
In 2009, the crew had been talking about expanding the fanclub and represent all Jacksons instead of only the next generation. The reason for this was the lack of Jackson fanclubs around. After the passing of Michael Jackson, we knew we had to realise the idea of becoming an all-Jackson fanclub to continue the legacy of not only him, but also The Jacksons, Janet, Rebbie and La Toya. We decided that memberships would be free as opposed to our paid memberships in the past. We will, however, release magazines again for fanclub members to purchase.
THE NEW MEANING OF TNG
We live in an era where the first generation of Jacksons have established their name in the music industry and the next generation* will continue this legacy.
