Tito’s 3 sons, Tariano Adaryll Jackson (Taj), Taryll Adren Jackson and Tito Joe Jackson (TJ) are better known as the music group 3T.
Taj born August 4th 1973, Taryll Adren Jackson, born August 8th 1975 & TJ Jackson born July 16th 1978, paved the way for the first Next Generation of Jacksons, following the footsteps of their father Tito who was a member of the Jackson 5 & Jacksons in the early years.
Ever since 3T were little boys they always knew they wanted to follow their dad and other family members footsteps and become singing/performing artists.
With their mother as their first manager, they tried to reach this goal. The first song by 3T came out in 1992 by the name of ‘You Are The Ones’ and was one of the tracks of the Jackson family series soundtrack ‘An American Dream’. In 1993, 3T had written the song ‘Didn't Mean To Hurt You’, which was placed on the soundtrack of the movie Free Willy and ‘What Will It Take’ for Free Willy II. They worked on more songs and they were ready to show their talents to the world. With their new managers Tito also known as ‘Poppa T’ & Frank Dileo, 3T scored European hit after hit keeping the Jackson legacy alive.
3T's first single ‘Anything’, was released early 1996 by Sony & MJJ music, surprised many people. With lyrics written by themselves, ‘Anything’ instantly gave 3T a large fan base all around Europe. It also reached the number one position in several countries. Big hits followed after ‘Anything’ like ‘24/7’, ‘Tease me’ and ‘Why’ which was written by Babyface. Their biggest hit was released in december 1996: ‘I Need You’, which was followed by an European tour in 1997. After the tour they released their last single of the Brotherhood album ‘Gotta Be You’.
After the Brotherhood tour, 3T were involved in a few other projects like recording 2 new songs for soundtracks and getting their own record label by the name of ‘TTT music’. Their first artist to sign with this label was Klaye. His first album had collaborations from 3T and 2 songs featured by Taryll and TJ. They wrote and sang on One, 2 and Ice cream. After that, there was a very long and quiet pause in their careers. They had found themselves in a legal struggle with their record company Sony Epic. This made them unable to release their second album which is known to most fans as the ‘Lost Album’ or ‘Déjà Vu’, but eventually was named ‘Lessons Learned’. In 2002 they were finally released from their contract with Sony.
In august 2003 their new single ‘Stuck On You’ (originally done by Lionel Richie) was released by their new recordcompany ‘TF1 Musique’. After that they released a whole new album entitled ‘Identity’ and also released a second single called ‘Sex appeal’. After some promotours in France, Holland and Belgium they featured on another single called ‘If You Leave Me Now’ from T-Rio’s album ‘Mamae eu Quero’.
At the moment we are awaiting 3t’s third album but there is no release date available yet.
In 2006 Taryll announced that, besides 3t, he also ambitioned a solo carreer. In 2009 he launched his official website tarylljackson.com, on which he announced he will be releasing mini albums called Digital Eight.
